Gruntled, but will it last?

(August 23rd 2018):
I’m a Labour supporter, but my local MP is National. The receptionist at his office, however, was receptive, and I’m hoping she’ll get her notes of our meeting to the boss.
En route I stopped at what used to be the WINZ office, noting it’s now MSD. I was hoping I might find a way to wrangle better mobility – I was tottering on my feet at that stage, a few hundred metres at best. What I got was a Jobsworth (Look that up as a noun), reluctant to even let me sit! I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the cloth-eared one that totally destroyed a prominent radio and music-club hostess.
The brief respite there (I did get to sit, but not actually communicate) gave me the endurance to continue, and that proved worthwhile. Now awaiting further dialogue. :)
Boo! on Ministry of Societal Destruction, Yea! on an open ear at the MP’s office.
(October 11th 2018):
No. Effective secretary, dissembling boss: more brick walls, deaf System.
Several hopeful email exchanges, then: “Sorry, this office cannot assist you any further.” National Party politics, trouncing a matter of National importance? Not even the possibility of political ‘points-scoring’ enticing?
I approached my local MP only because I’m not a constituent to my nearest Labour MP – who can’t/won’t/hasn’t absorb/ed the NON-Party nature of the matter. Do these politicos never THINK? Are Ward divisions that politically impervious, with that much Party animosity?
I have a week away from home, so news will be a while…
